Once you submit your bank information through the Employee Self Service web site, direct deposit should be fully processed within 1-2 weeks.
Why is direct deposit taking so long?
Deposits can take even longer to happen at times, in part because the bank wants to ensure that the funds are good. They won’t know that the funds are good until the money actually arrives, so many banks will hold deposits for up to 5 business days at times. So be aware of that, and know what your bank’s policy is.
How do I know if my direct deposit went through?
To check the status of your direct deposit:
- Click your company name at the top right, and then click Payroll Settings.
- Click Direct Deposit under Payroll and Services.
- Look in the Action column in the Employer Info box. If you see Active, it means your direct deposit is all set up and ready to go.
How long does it take for money to be deposited into your bank account?
All deposits made from your bank account into Current will go through the ACH and take 1-3 business days to settle into your account per their regulations and timing. Most deposits made on a business day before 5PM EST will settle around 11AM EST the following business day.
